Coastal Art & Frame: Our History
Coastal Art & Frame, which originated in Richmond Hill, Georgia, is currently located at the Savannah Festival Factory Stores in Savannah, Georgia, near Interstate 95 (Exit 94). Since opening its doors, in 2003, the business has helped countless customers decorate their homes and offices with beautiful hand-painted works of art.
In the early years, Coastal Art & Frame offered art prints along with custom matting and framing services. However, following the introduction of oil paintings, it became apparent that the printed works of art could not compete with the rich texture of the oil paintings when placed side-by-side in the showroom. Eventually -- in response to customer demand -- the business discontinued its print selection in favor of an expanded oil painting collection. Thereafter, the business also discontinued its custom framing services for prints and photographs. Coastal Art & Frame continues to offer frames for oil paintings.
